FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I try the software for free?
Yes! You get a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required. After that, simply choose the plan that fits your fleet.
Which devices are supported?
FleetSight is a Progressive Web App (PWA) and works on all devices with a modern browser: desktop, tablet and smartphone. You can also install the app on your home screen.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. All data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and stored on secure European servers. We are fully GDPR compliant and offer multi-tenant data separation.
Where is my data stored?
All data is hosted on Hetzner servers in Germany, an ISO 27001 certified data centre provider. Your database and backups remain entirely within the EU. No data is shared with third parties or transferred outside the European Union.
What happens when I delete data?
Deleted records are first archived and can be restored at any time. After a 30-day safety period, fleet managers can permanently delete archived data. This irreversibly removes all associated records and files from our servers. Every action is documented in the Activity Log.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export vehicles, drivers, contracts, maintenance records and more at any time as CSV, Excel or PDF. This way you always retain full control over your data.
Can I migrate from another system?
Switching is easy. You can set up your vehicles, drivers and contracts directly in the app. The structured forms guide you through the process step by step. Most fleets are fully onboarded within an hour.
What happens when my trial expires?
After the 14-day trial, your account switches to read-only mode. All your data is preserved, but creating or editing records is disabled. Simply choose a plan to pick up right where you left off.
How many vehicles and drivers & users can I manage?
That depends on your plan. Starter supports up to 5 vehicles and 5 drivers & users, Professional up to 20 vehicles and 10 drivers & users, and Business and Enterprise offer unlimited vehicles and drivers & users. Every driver counts against your limit, even without their own login. All features are included in every plan. The only difference is the resource limits.
Can my drivers also use the app?
Yes! Drivers get their own portal where they can view assigned vehicles, complete vehicle checks on their phone, and track upcoming maintenance. You can invite them directly from the user management.
Are integrations with other systems possible?
We are currently developing an API for the Enterprise plan that will allow you to connect fleet management with your existing systems. Contact us if this is relevant for you. We are happy to discuss your requirements.
How does billing work?
All plans are billed monthly. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, no long-term commitment.
